In July, he’s joining forces with Matthew Reade, a friend and collaborator from their time at Lyle’s, to take over our menu.

Borja Del Cerro

He specialized in Spanish, French, North African, and Pakistani cuisine before finding his way to Wythe where he has been an integral part of our team for the last four years.

At Le Crocodile, Borja draws inspiration from French Brasseries as well as regional dishes from Coastal France—Normandy, Basque Country, and Aquitaine—using seasonal, local ingredients.

Sebastian Javier & Gabriela Gripenberg

October 4

Chefs Gabriela Gripenberg and Sebastian Javier are our October Chefs-in-Residence.

Their menu showcases the fleeting overlap of seasons when summer’s last tomatoes and fall’s first foraged mushrooms are both available, drawing inspiration from the Nordic region, where Gabriela is from, as well France and Italy. Expect dishes like Karelian pie, a traditional Finnish savory pastry, Pâté en croûte, house-made sourdough, Prinsesstårta (Swedish princess cake), and much more.

We hope to see you there!
