The days are getting longer, and our summer calendar is packed with DJ sets, menu takeovers, visiting somms, celebrations, gatherings, and more. Lace up your dancing shoes every weekend and meet us at Sunday Sessions, where we're hosting a rotating lineup of DJs (on the patio when weather permits, bien sûr). Once a month, we'll welcome guest chefs from near and far to take over our kitchen. Keep your eye on the calendar for updates and new events all season long.

Devonn Francis

June 6 - 7

DeVonn Charles Francis is the Chef-Owner of Charles & Francis. With a degree in art and design, a history of private events and catering around the U.S., and a deep admiration for fashion; Charles & Francis is Francis’ thesis on the art of hospitality.

Francis has created vibrant and distinguished meals in partnership with brands such as Gucci, Converse, and Burberry, and has been featured in publications like The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bon Appetit, and Interview Magazine. Francis travels the world in search of new flavors and atmospheres: from Paris to Costa Rica, Jamaica, Antigua, Grand Cayman, and through the American South finding new stories about food, people, and culture.

Matthew Reade

July 4 - 5

Starting his career, Matthew Reade spent three and a half years at Embla in Melbourne before moving to London. There, he joined the opening kitchen team at Brat at Climpson’s Arch before moving on to Lyle’s, where he spent another three years. No stranger to a pop-up, Reade has hosted countless menu takeovers across New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Brussels, Scotland, and England.

Now, he arrives in New York City alongside former Lyle’s collaborator Jack Coghan for a cheeky Fourth of July weekend menu takeover.

Jack Coghlan

July 4 - 5

Jack Coghlan is from Sydney, Australia, where he trained and began his culinary career. After moving to London, he began a five-year tenure as Sous Chef at Lyle’s, the Michelin-starred restaurant. He later served as Sous Chef at Planque before setting off on his own.

Most recently, he opened Norbert’s alongside John Ogier, co-founder and partner of Lyle’s. Norbert’s is a rotisserie chicken spot known for its concise yet crowd-pleasing menu.

For Fourth of July weekend, he’s joining forces with Matthew Reade, a friend and collaborator from their time at Lyle’s.

Rey Lopez

August 1 - 2

Born and raised in San Francisco, Rey Lopez has spent the last 15 years working in some of New York’s most renowned restaurants, including the inimitable Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad Hotel. Now based in London, he leads the kitchen team at KOL, a Mexican restaurant that blends British ingredients with Mexican cooking traditions.

In August, he returns to New York City for the weekend to take over our menu.

Isabel Garcia

September 13 - 14

Isabel Garcia is a Spanish-British chef currently based in Paris. Her culinary journey has taken her through kitchens in Copenhagen, Mexico, London, and Paris, where she led the kitchens at Aux Deux Amis and Delicatessen. She has also helmed residencies at Fulgurances L’Adresse and Mokoloco.

Her cooking style is rooted in her Spanish heritage but is also influenced by French and Italian cooking. Her approach reflects care, intention, and curiosity, with menus built around seasonal availability and sustainable sourcing.
